Our Core Values

(H) Humility

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles: 7:14)

The Bible demonstrates the intregral role that humility plays in our relationship with God and others, and how this impacts our health. We commit to striving to stay humble in the work that we do.

(E) Empathy

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15)

The Bible instructs us to be empathetic when our neighbors are both rejoicing or mourning. We strive towards being empathetic.

(A) Act in Faith

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:14-17)

Without faith it is impossible to please God and our works should be accompanied by, and evidence of our faith. We strive to act faithfully, in everything that we do.

(L) Love

Jesus said that all of the commandments and the laws can be summed up in two instrcutions. Love the one true living God with all thy mind, thy body, thy heart and thy soul... and like unto it...love thy neighbour as thyself.

We understand that the power of Love is often understated for God is Love. With Love we know that we can accomplish all things, including doing good works to improve the well being of our communities

(E) Endurance

It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? (Hebrews 12:7)

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)

We believe that through God with endurance we can accomplish our goals; and we strive to keep this as a guiding principle of the work we do.

(D) Discipleship

Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works. This call to encourage others to do good works is parramount to creating the world we would want to live in and a privalege for those who would consider themselves Gods workmen. (Hebrews 10:24 )

We serve God by allowing him to use us for his will, which we understand to be good works and we hope to encourage others do the same.

Our Approach

Faith

We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God and that the lack of faith breads complacency, though each day provides and opportunity  to make progress towards helping cultivate the happy, healthy and wholesome communities we want to live in.

Research

We believe that fundamentally research can be a Godly pursuit, for research is believing that if we pose our questions in the correct manner, are diligent in our searching  and disciplined with our observations we could  uncover reproducible  insights.

Action

We believe that faith without works and research without application is frivolous. Though our works may be deliberate and incremental, we believe that with God and through patience, evidence of our good works will be manifested in our communities.

Art

We believe that Art and Science are intertwined and that artistry and the creative spirit reflects the image of God, the creator of all. Through visual, musical and experimental art, we hope to impact communities in a fun, engaging, and empowering way.
